Established in the year 1991 under the dynamic leadership of Mr. K Subba Rao, Chairman, VEF, the Institution has grown leaps and bounds. The first batch of students passed out of the college on 8th November 1995 which happens to be the red letter day when the premier Dental Council of India gave recognition to the Institution.

The students have to be extremely regular to all theory/Practical/Clinical classes.
The students have to strictly follow the time table and should be punctual for all the classes.
There is a strict dress code to be followed for all the students. The girls are permitted to wear either saree or salwar kameez. The boys should be neatly dressed in formal trousers with shirts tucked in and neatly shaved. Jeans, chappals etc are not permitted in a professional college. Wearing of clean white aprons is mandatory for all the students. All students should wear their ID cards at all times in the college campus.
No mobile phones are permitted in the campus as per guidelines laid down by RGUHS. Any student found to be using mobile phones in the campus during working hours will have to surrender the same immediately and appropriate action for the same will be initiated.
Ragging of the students is strictly not allowed and any student found to be involved in the act of ragging which is considered a criminal offence will be severely delt with.
   
 
According to the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

“ If any incidents of ragging comes to the notice of the authority the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory the authority would expel him/her from the institutions”.

Any incident of ragging should be reported immediately to the Principal for necessary action.
